Audrey Frische, a sixth-grader from Loftis Middle School, won the Chattanooga Times Free Press Spelling Bee, defeating Noah Collins, a seventh-grader from Baylor. Audrey defeated Noah after he mispelled the word "campion," and she correctly spelled "fontina" and "remonstrance." The annual Spelling Bee was held at the UTC Fine Art's Center.
