NTSB investigating Macon, Ga., plane crash, 1 dead

MACON, Ga. -- The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating a plane crash that killed one man and injured another in central Georgia.

NTSB safety investigator Doug Brazy said the agency expects to release a preliminary report in eight to 10 days summarizing what's known about the crash Friday outside Fort Valley near Highway 96.

The crash killed 78-year-old Brian Powers of Byron. John Christopher Reynolds of Macon was injured.

WMAZ-TV reports the wreckage was removed Saturday.
