The two bodies found in Telfair County, Ga., have been identified as Elrey "Bud" Runion and June Runion.

Telfair County Sheriff Chris Steverson said an autopsy conducted by the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta revealed that they each died of a gunshot wound to the head.

The couple's bodies were found in a wooded area of rural Telfair County, not far from the lake where their SUV was found.

The Runions traveled from Marietta, Ga., which is less than 100 miles south of Chattanooga, on Thursday to purchase a 1966 Mustang convertible they found on Craigslist. The ad for the classic car was believed to have been posted by Ronnie Adrian Towns, 28, who grew up on a plot of land near where the bodies were found.

Today, around 2 p.m., investigators charged Towns with murder and armed robbery. Steverson said Towns will be arraigned in the Telfair County Courthouse this afternoon.
