DECATUR, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities continue to search for a truck driver who was involved in a crash that killed four people in East Tennessee.

Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. Bill Miller says 34-year-old John Wesley Bennett remained at large Sunday.

Bennett faces multiple felony warrants after authorities said he caused Friday's three-vehicle crash in Meigs County and then fled.

The highway patrol said in a news release that Bennett was driving a dump truck on southbound Tennessee Route 58 when a trailer disconnected from the truck about two miles south of Decatur. The out-of-control trailer rolled into the northbound lanes, hitting a Nissan Maxima and a Nissan Pathfinder.

Two occupants in each vehicle were killed.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the highway patrol at 1-800-305-2201.
