UPDATE: The Dalton Police Department is investigating today's fatal shooting at an office at the A1 Towing & Recovery lot as a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Department spokesman Bruce Frazier said there's a possibility that this was an accidental shooting as opposed to an intentional act on the part of the victim.

Frazier apologized for using the term suicide earlier, which would imply intent.
