22-year-old man shot on Chattanooga's East 25th Street Place

A 22-year-old Chattanooga man was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon suffering from a gunshot wound.

Chattanooga police identified the victim as Quadarius Bowling.

Police said they received a call shortly after 1 p.m., and responded to the 1900 block of East 25th Street Place.

When they arrived, they found Bowling suffering from a single gunshot wound. Hamilton County EMS were called to the scene and took Bowling to a local hospital.

According to police, Bowling got into a fight with another man in the parking lot of a local business and the other man returned and shot him as he was walking on East 25th Street Place.

Police said Bowling's injuries were not life-threatening.

Officers had no details about a possible suspect in the shooting.
