Police: Man wounded in road rage shooting

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Police say a case of road rage in Tennessee led to a shooting that wounded one driver.

The Knoxville Police Department says their investigation found that the driver of a Chevrolet pickup truck and the driver of a gray Honda Odyssey became involved in a road rage incident Tuesday that led to the Odyssey driver stopping in the roadway. That caused the driver of the pickup to take evasion action to avoid a collision.

Police say when the driver of the pickup got out of his vehicle, the driver of the Odyssey fired several shots. Police say the truck driver, who they did not name, was hit multiple times in the leg and taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with non-life-threatening wounds.

Police are searching for the Odyssey.
