John and Fin Kernohan, organizers of the Tennessee Tiny House Festival that will be at Audubon Acres on Sept. 8-10, will be featured Thursday night on the DIY Network.

Their "Tiny Firehouse Station No. 9" will be included on "Tiny House, Big Living" at 9 p.m.

The Kernohans are founders of the United Tiny House Association, which organizes Tiny House festivals throughout the country to raise funds for various charities and nonprofits.

Tiny Firehouse Station No. 9 is the first tribute tiny house honoring firefighters and first responders. It serves as the couple's home as they travel the U.S. for tiny house festivals and to speak at events. Tiny Firehouse Station No. 9 will be at Audubon Acres in East Brainerd during next month's Tennessee Tiny House Festival.

Thursday night's episode will share the entire building process of the firehouse from conception to its unveiling at the Georgia Tiny House Festival. The Kernohans make the firehouse available to fire departments for use at fundraisers and for fire prevention education for schoolchildren.
