Suspect arrested in connection to Hampton Inn homicide

Chattanooga police have arrested a man suspected of killing Isaac Queen, who was gunned down Monday at a Hampton Inn on Shallowford Road.

Demetrius Bynum, 27, was apprehended Wednesday in Montgomery, Ala., with assistance from the United States Marshal Service Southeast, Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Fulton County Georgia Sheriff's Office.

Bynum will be held in Montgomery County on fugitive from justice charges pending extradition on his outstanding warrants.

He is being charged with criminal homicide, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon by Chattanooga police.
