ATLANTA - Calhoun used a dominating defensive effort Friday to give Hal Lamb his third state championship trophy with a 10-6 win over Peach County in the Mercedes Benz Stadium.

The 14-1 Yellow Jackets' defense held the Trojans (13-2) well under 200 total yards and scored the game's only touchdown when safety Brannon Spector intercepted a pass and returned it 46 yards 23 seconds before halftime.

Peach rallied for two second-half field goals and appeared to be in position to rally for the win late but what appeared to be a fourth-down pass completion inside the 5 was ruled incomplete, allowing Calhoun to run out the clock.
