Nolan Elementary School was briefly placed on lockdown Tuesday afternoon when two men got into a fight in the school's parking lot.

The lockdown has been lifted, no one was hurt, and the incident did not involve any children, said Capt. Scott Ogrodowczyk with Signal Mountain Police.

The two men were fighting over a woman, he said.

Apparently, the woman's estranged husband spotted her boyfriend sitting in a car in the school's parking lot, waiting for her. The two men then got into a physical scuffle, Ogrodowczyk said.

The school was placed on lockdown as a precaution. The lockdown was lifted when both men were placed in custody.

Officers are currently deciding what criminal charges are warranted, Ogrodowczyk said.
