UPDATE: Boy dies from injuries received in Walker County crash that killed his brother, driver

A 10-year-old died from injuries he sustained in a crash Saturday that claimed two other lives in Walker County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Troopers say driver Christopher Rowles, 51, lost control of a minivan carrying brothers Blake Hunt, 5, and Brandon Hunt, 10, and crashed into tree along Highway 136 between LaFayette and Villanow.

Rowles and Blake Hunt died from injuries they suffered in the crash. Brandon Hunt underwent surgery Saturday night for injuries and later passed away.

Investigators found a cooler and an open container at the scene, according to authorities. Officers are awaiting the results of toxicology report before officially determining if alcohol played a role in the crash.
