Two weeks of intense fire training for Fire Academy 2017 came to a close today on Hancock Road, according to a Chattanooga FIre Department news release.
The two houses donated by the Hamilton County government were used over and over again the past two weeks, providing hands-on training in fire suppression and search and rescue.
Recruits will now move on to other disciplines in the fire service, including vehicle extrication and hazardous materials. If they make it through that, they will graduate on April 13.
