Dalton police to take 'Polar Plunge' at Dalton High for special needs students

Officers from the Dalton Police Department will take the 'Polar Plunge' for special needs students and other students at Dalton High School today at 2 p.m.

Dalton police participated in the Polar Plunge fundraiser for the Special Olympics on Saturday in Acworth, Ga.

They will jump in the pool at Dalton High School today so students who helped with the fundraising can get a chance to participate.

Students from Dalton High School and Dalton Middle School, and the Dalton Police Department raised $4,000 in support of Special Olympics Georgia.
