Employee charged with stealing more than $40,000 from his company

A Charleston, Tenn., man has been arrested for allegedly stealing more than $40,000 from his former employer.

Jamie Lee Anderson 41, was charged with theft over $10,000 and forgery after the company he had been working for, Advantage Logistics Trucking Co. in Cleveland, noticed diminished funds stemming from an account, according to a news release from the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.

An investigation by the Bradley County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the Cleveland Police Department, determined that Anderson had fraudulently issued checks to himself more than 90 times, totaling more than $40,000.

He was arrested and indicted by the Bradley County Grand Jury.
