A man crashed his vehicle into a building in downtown Chattanooga early Tuesday.
The driver, Paul Burton, 26, sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation after driving his Chevrolet Impala into the side of the 401 Building at 401 Chestnut St.
He was charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and failure to maintain lane, according to Chattanooga Police Department public information officer Rob Simmons.
