Four arrested after search for stolen property turns up drugs in Alabama

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office received a tip Tuesday about stolen property at a residence on County Road 603.

Deputies and the DeKalb County Drug and Major Crimes Unit arrived at the home and found Heather Leann Guinn, 28, of Henagar, to have a warrant for failure to appear.

During the search no stolen property was found but they did find drugs at the residence, according to a Sheriff's Office news release.

Guinn was arrested for the warrant and also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of marijuana second-degree, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Several other individuals were at the residence at that time and were also arrested: Spenser Lane Myers, 29, of Flat Rock; Rickey Lionel Rogers Jr., 34, of Fort Payne; and Kimberly Dawn Haston, 23, of Henagar.

Those three were charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana second-degree and hindering prosecution second-degree.
