UPDATE at 10 p.m.: Police asked residents on Nob N. Drive to evacuate their homes at approximately 5 p.m. this evening, according to residents.

"That's all they could tell us at that time," said Ann Yasenchak, who was asked to evacuate with her husband, Lewis Yasenchak. "They told us that we needed to get out because there was a bomb."

Anne said a Varnell police officer asked them to gather their personal items just in case.

The couple said they saw a vehicle being moved from Nob N. Drive to Cleveland Highway to be searched.

"It's an inconvenience for my wife and I, but we can live with that," Lewis said. "We went out for dinner, and what's happening tonight really doesn't matter to me as long as we're safe and the house is OK."
