Severe storms could ruin your Riverbend plans this evening

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook today with strong to severe thunderstorms possible this afternoon and evening.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected late this afternoon and could last into the evening. The storms could be strong to severe and will be capable of producing damaging winds, up to quarter size hail and heavy rainfall.

The area counties that could possibly be affected by the hazardous weather outlook are: Bledsoe, Bradley, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Polk, Rhea and Sequatchie.
