Mohawk Industries has been awarded a record fourth Pinnacle Award from flooring trade publication Floor Covering Weekly.
The GreenStep Pinnacle Award recognizes Mohawk's efforts and investments in sustainability. Mohawk is engaged in programs to reduce waste-to-landfill and water intensity in the manufacturing process.
Around the world, 16 of Mohawk's 24 ceramic tile plants now recover and reuse 100 percent of process wastewater, and Mohawk also operates 44 zero process waste-to-landfill manufacturing plants globally.
