A 19-year-old man died of multiple gunshot wounds late Tuesday he received in a shooting on Tunnel Boulevard Tuesday night.
Chatttanooga Police said in a statement this morning that Toriq Johnson Jr. was found lying on the ground suffering multiple gunshot wounds in the 2200 block of Tunnel Boulevard.
Hamilton County EMS officials took Johnson to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries but he died.
No suspect information was provided, police said.
Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are continuing to investigate.
