A woman crashed her car into a pole on E 23rd Street in Chattanooga Thursday, March 16, 2017.

Original article at 7:05 p.m.: One person has been taken to the hospital after crashing into a pole on E 23rd Street.
A witness said the woman lost control of the vehicle traveling west. She said the driver was placed in a neck brace before being loaded into the ambulance for transport.
Officers on scene said there was only person in the vehicle.
Two lanes of the road have been temporarily shut down while officials clear the scene.
