A juvenile was shot once on Chattanooga's Manor Drive Friday afternoon, according to a release from the police department.
Police were called to a local hospital at 4:42 p.m. after the victim showed up with the wound.
The victim was arrested on unrelated charges after being released from the hospital, according to the release.
The victim was uncooperative, officers said, but they were able to determine the crime scene from a shots fired call dispatch received shortly before 3 p.m.
