Chattanooga has been ranked the No. 1 most affordable place in Tennessee to buy a used car by auto website Autolist.com.
The website, which says it draws on over 81 million vehicles and 4.6 billion unique data points across vehicles of all makes and models nationwide, shows that used vehicles in Chattanooga are on average $707 less than the Tennessee average.
Autolist.com ranks Tennessee the 34th most affordable place to buy a car in the nation, with average prices $515 above the national average.
In terms of specific vehicles, Autolist.com's study said the Ram Pickup 1500 is the most affordable vehicle in Chattanooga, with prices $1,671 below the Tennessee average.
