East Ridge police said Sunday a 13-year-old boy reported missing Saturday night was found safe.
Matthew Hancock was at a friend's house in Hixson, according to a news release.
The release said East Ridge Police Department would like to thank East Ridge Fire Rescue, Hamilton County STARS, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the Chattanooga Police Department for their help in finding the boy.
