The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department are investigating a body found in a car parked in the Big Lots parking lot on Old LaFayette Road on Sunday.
Greg Ramey, special agent in charge of the GBI's Calhoun office, said the GBI is assisting Fort Oglethorpe police.
Fort Oglethorpe police released no details Sunday but a spokesman said more information should be available today.
