Two juveniles have been arrested after leading deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office on a pursuit.

A sergeant first tried to stop a vehicle around 3 p.m. Wednesday on the 600 block of Morrison Springs Road because it had been reported stolen in Chattanooga, according to a news release. Instead of pulling over, the driver sped off and the deputy lost sight of the suspect.

Shortly thereafter, a school resource officer for the Center for Creative Arts saw the car on North Market Street and tried to stop it. The driver stopped near the corner of McKendrick Road and Noel Street and two occupants jumped out and ran.

The driver was caught and placed in custody, and the passenger was caught a short time later. Both are juveniles and the Sheriff's Office will not release their names.
