Bradley civil courts temporarily moving because of courthouse fire

A fire Saturday that left smoke and water damage in the Bradley County Courthouse in downtown Cleveland, Tenn., has force civil courts into temporary quarters.

Lt. James Bradford, spokesman for the Bradley County Sheriff's Office, released information Sunday night.

  • Bradley County General Sessions Civil Court will be held at the Juvenile Center, 1620 Johnson Blvd. S.E.
  • Bradley County Circuit Court will be held at Logan-Thompson Law Office, 30 Second St. N.W.
  • General Sessions Criminal Court and Bradley County Criminal Court will still be held at the Bradley County Judicial Complex at 2230 Blythe Avenue S.E.

Bradford said the permanent locations of courts during the repair of the downtown courthouse will be announced Monday afternoon.
