There's a new No. 1 atop Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. "What Ifs," a song featuring local talents Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina, has ended Sam Hunt's hold on the No. 1 slot after 34 consecutive weeks.
"What Ifs" is included on Brown's debut RCA album "Kane Brown: Deluxe Edition," which was released Oct. 6. The album is trending #1 on iTunes country chart.
Brown and Alaina have been friends since sixth grade and sang in the choir together at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School. Brown credits her with encouraging him to pursue singing as a career.
