UPDATE: The suspect in the Elrod Street shooting was taken into custody at 3:25 p.m. Saturday, police spokeswoman Sgt. Evie West said.
She said the 14-year-old is charged with aggravated domestic assault and attempted second-degree murder.
ORIGINAL STORY: Police in Cleveland, Tenn., are looking for a teenager they say is a suspect in a domestic violence shooting early today.
Sgt. Evie West, spokeswoman for the police department, said officers were called to an address on Elrod Place SE at 6:12 a.m. and found a man who had been shot multiple times.
West said the victim was flown to Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga and is in stable condition.
The alleged shooter is a 14-year old boy who fled the scene and who is considered armed and dangerous, West said. He also is wanted on other charges and has been listed as a runaway, she said.
The Times Free Press is not releasing the boy's name because he is underage.
