Sam Bush, Del McCoury headline 3 Sisters Music Festival

Once again, members of the Fletcher Bright family are throwing a free bluegrass music festival, and the lineup is impressive.

Set for Friday, Oct. 6, and Saturday, Oct. 7, the 11th annual 3 Sisters Music Festival will include performances by Yonder Mountain String Band, Del McCoury, the Kruger Brothers and Sam Bush. The Dismembered Tennesseans also will perform.

The event, hosted by Fletcher Bright Realty, will be at Ross's Landing.

The Friday schedule will start at 6 p.m. with music by The Dismembered Tennesseans, followed by The Stray Birds at 6:50 p.m., the Jeff Austin Band - a mandolinist and singer best known for being a part of the Yonder Mountain String Band - at 8:10 p.m., and Del McCoury to wrap up the evening at 9:30 p.m.

On Saturday, local band The Lone Mountain Band will kick off the full day at noon. Bluetastic Fangrass will take the stage at 1 p.m., followed by Hamilton County Ramblers at 2 p.m., Berklee College of Music Fiddlers at 3 p.m., Molly Tuttle Band at 4 p.m., Bryan Sutton at 5:30 p.m., the Kruger Brothers at 7 p.m., and Sam Bush will close out at 8:30 p.m.
