A woman was shot on the 100 block of O'Neal Street on Tuesday night, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Officers responded to a person shot report about 9:25 p.m. and found Cassandra Moore, 58, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Hamilton County Emergency Services took the victim to a local hospital were she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
A crime scene was established and investigators conducted interviews.
Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are investigating this incident.
