A man has been charged in connection to the September attempted murder of LaSandra Burdette, according to Chattanooga police.

Britian Crutcher, 26, is charged with attempted murder, three counts of aggravated assault, three counts of reckless endangerment and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony.

Additionally, he was charged earlier this month in connection to the Nov. 18 homicide of 28-year-old Ladarius Cross. Crutcher has been in the Hamilton County Jail since Nov. 22 on separate charges.

Burdette was one of three separate victims in a night that saw three shootings in late September.

Police were called to a local hospital after Burdette arrived for treatment of a gunshot wound. She had been involved in a minor crash moments before she was shot and said the suspect was in the other vehicle.

Crutcher, a known gang member, has an arrested record in Hamilton County dating back to 2010. His previous charges include aggravated robbery, kidnapping and assault, possessing a firearm with intent to go armed and domestic assault.

In 2011, he was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, three counts of aggravated kidnapping, three counts of aggravated assault and theft over $1,000.
