Damon Gillespie, a graduate of Chattanooga Center for Creative Arts, was featured in a Super Bowl commercial Sunday night when NBC aired a promo for its new spring series, "Rise."

"Rise," from the producer of "Hamilton," is a teen drama about how one dedicated teacher, played by Josh Radnor, takes over a school's theater department and galvanizes not only the students and faculty, but the entire town. Gillespie plays the male teen lead. The drama is based on a true story.

"Rise" will debut on NBC on March 13 at 10 p.m. with a special premiere.
