Burglary suspect arrested after being held at gun point by Cherokee County, Ala., homeowner

A Cherokee County, Ala., woman held two burglary suspects at gunpoint after catching two people inside her home on Friday.

Benjamin T. Roulane, 20, of Summerville, Ga., was arrested and charged with second degree burglary. The second suspect, Alexia McGuire, 18, also of Summerville, fled the scene when she saw the homeowner.

Warrants have been obtained for McGuire and law enforcement in Cherokee and Chattooga counties are looking for her.

Rowland was taken to the Cherokee County Detention Center, where he was also charged with three counts of third degree burglary and second degree theft of property in connection to crimes that took place earlier in the week.
