Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam on Thursday said flags will fly half-staff at the state Capitol and state buildings until sunset Monday to remember the victims of the Florida school shooting.

Seventeen people were killed Wednesday when a gunman opened fire at a Florida high school. It was the deadliest school shooting in the U.S. in five years.

"Our thoughts are with those mourning in the wake of this tragedy," Haslam said in a post on Twitter.
