DeKalb County police looking for person who shot Bulldog with crossbow

Fort Payne police are looking for the person who shot an American bulldog with a bolt, which had been fired from a crossbow.

The dog was found in the 1900 block of Godfrey Ave. NE and was taken to a shelter by animal control.

A concerned citizen took the dog to the DeKalb County Animal Hospital. It remains in improving condition.

Investigators are looking for the offender who shot the dog.
