U.S. Marshals looking for accused murderer in Georgia

U.S. Marshals are asking you to look out for a man accused of murder in Virginia. They say he was last seen six months ago in Pooler, Ga.

According to a news release, 32-year-old Amos Jacob Arroyo murdered his ex girlfriend and her father in a trailer in Newport News, Va., on July 30. He faces two counts of murder.

On Aug. 1, U.S. Marshals found his vehicle abandoned in a Wal Mart parking lot in Pooler. They found his ID cars behind and is now using a fake name. Surveillance footage shows him shopping in the store the day before.

Arroyo grew up in West Covina, Calif, according to the U.S. Marshals, and he still has ties there. He also has ties to Coral Springs, Fla.; Newark, Del.; and Norfolk, Va. He speaks Spanish and previously traveled to Mexico.

"The Newport News Police Department continues to be completely vested in this case and remains cooperative with the U.S. Marshals," Chief Mike Grinstead said in a statement. "It is our sincerest hope that they succeed in apprehending Mr. Arroyo so the family receives the closure they deserve and justice is served."
