Chattanooga airport cancels pair of flights amid inclement weather

A pair of Delta Air Lines flights have been canceled due to wintry weather, according to Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport.

One departure from Chattanooga to Atlanta and one arrival from Atlanta to Chattanooga have been canceled, said airport spokesman Albert Waterhouse.

"We encourage anyone traveling to always check with your air carrier before arriving at the airport for your flight," he said in a statement.

Snow that fell Tuesday morning in Middle Tennessee later moved into East Tennessee and North Georgia.
