More than two dozen Chattanooga area employers will be conducting job interviews and hiring workers during a job fair Wednesday, Jan. 17 at the Chattanooga Times Free Press building, 400 E. 11th St. in downtown Chattanooga.

Employers from a variety of industries will be accepting job applications and scheduling employment interviews for full- and part-time positions in manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, general labor, professional positions and other fields.

The all-day job fair, which is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, is being conducted on the third floor of the Times Free Press building, two blocks east of Chattanooga City Hall.

Applicants are encouraged to register for the job fair at www.timesfreepress.com/Job-Seekers-2018/ or sign up during the event to be eligible to win a $250 door prize.

Persons are urged to come dressed for success in professional or business casual attire and to bring plenty of copies of your resume, updated with the most recent work history and skills.

Free parking in available for those attending the event across from the Times Free Press building.

Employers hiring at the job fair include Belhaven University, Sodexo, Amazon, Hamilton Long Term Care, ResourceMFG, Praters Athletic Flooring, Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, CARTA, Dixie Produce, Metro Boiler Tube Co. Inc., GoldBond, Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, Wilkins Research Services, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, the Tennessee Department of Correction, Flexicrew, See Rock City, Bethel University, Jak Foods Inc., Chattanooga College, Walden Security, Chattanooga Times Free Press, Five Star Food Service and Express Courier International.
