St. Vincent, who was set to perform on Feb. 16 at Chattanooga's newest music venue, The Signal, which is set to open next month, has had to cancel. She also cancelled her Birmingham show on Feb. 18, both due to "unforeseen production complications."

The venue is located on Chestnut Street near Finley stadium and the St. Vincent show was the first show on the schedule. Officials with The Signal sent out a notice about the cancellation, stating "To say we are disappointed, would be a significant understatement." It also contained an official statement from St. Vincent's management.

"Due to unforeseen production complications, St. Vincent shows in Chattanooga, TN on February 16 and Birmingham, AL on February 18 have been cancelled. Fans who purchased tickets online will receive an automatic refund on the credit card they used to purchase, no additional action will be needed. Refunds for non-internet orders will be available at the point of purchase. St. Vincent regrets any inconvenience this has caused her fans, and looks forward to coming back to Chattanooga and Birmingham soon."

The statement further says that The Signal is offering a free ticket - in addition to the refund - to any future show in the next year as a way to soften the blow for anyone who had already purchased a ticket.
