Bradley County inmate receives medical attention after altercation

A Bradley County Jail inmate has been injured after an altercation on Tuesday, a spokesman for the sheriff's department confirmed.

The altercation was between two inmates, spokesman Brian Graves said. The injured inmate did require medical attention, but because of federal health privacy laws, no further information can be released, he said.

Though, Graves did confirm that a life force helicopter was on or near the Bradley County Jail property on Tuesday.

It's not yet clear what time this incident occurred or what spurred the altercation.
