UPDATE: Jerry White Jr. has been identified as the driver of the motorcycle in Thursday night's crash in Sale Creek, according to a release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
Chattanooga Fire Department Capt. Shellie Thorne has been identified as the passenger on the motorcycle.

ORIGINAL STORY: Two people are in critical condition after a motorcycle crash in Sale Creek Thursday evening, according to a release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
Preliminary reports indicate the driver of the vehicle failed to yield to the motorcycle on the 1400 block of Mayflower Road, according to the release.
The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were transported to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
