William E. Smith Jr. The Grundy County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man after he was found in a remote wooded area allegedly engaging in sexual conduct in his truck with a 12-year-old girl, according to a news release.
William E. 'Tim' Smith Jr. identified himself as the pastor of a church in Palmer. He was also found in possession of legend and Schedule II prescription drugs.
"This is very disturbing and heartbreaking," Grundy County Sheriff Clint Shrum, said. Bond has not been set.
Smith Jr. has an initial court date of July 12.
