Traffic is backing up eastbound on Interstate 24 near the ridge cut after a multi-vehicle crash around 4:40 p.m. at mile marker 183, according to information on theTennessee Department of Transportation's Smartway Traffic map.
Officials expect the crash to be cleared by 6 p.m. The left lane on the eastbound side is blocked, according to TDOT.
