Police arrested a man Sunday following a shooting that injured one person on the 1200 block of Peachtree Street.
Police located the victim, Guss McKinney, 49, upon arrival and he was transported to a local hospital.
Investigators determined there was a confrontation between the suspect and victim prior to the shooting.
Mark Jackson, 51, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, felony reckless endangerment and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
