MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - A man convicted in a 2015 shooting in a mall parking lot in Tennessee has been sentenced to 31 years in prison.

The Shelby County district attorney's office says 22-year-old Anterrio Chambers was sentenced Wednesday by a Criminal Court judge in Memphis.

Chambers was convicted by a jury in March of charges including attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.

Investigators said Chambers and another man confronted two men in the parking lot of Wolfchase Galleria on July 15, 2015. Chambers and his unidentified companion opened fire as the men got into their vehicle and drove away. They were not injured.
