Lady Red Raiders season ends in rout

NASHVILLE - The Baylor girls' basketball team saw its season come to an end Friday at Lipscomb University at the hands of top-ranked Brentwood Academy. The Lady Eagles defeated the Lady Red Raiders 73-31 in a TSSAA Division II-AA state semifinal.

BA (28-2) got things going its way early and led 20-8 at the end of one quarter and spread that to 45-19 by halftime.

Baylor, which ends its season 20-10, was led in scoring by Raegyn Conley and in rebounding by Cheyenne Lindsey. Unfortunately for the Lady Raiders, those totals were seven points and four rebounds.
