Mark Shane TuckerAuthorities have charged a Flat Rock, Ala., man with attempted murder in connection with a December shooting on Short Cut Drive in Henagar.
Mark Shane Tucker, 41 of Flat Rock, was developed as a suspect in the shooting in the investigation that has been ongoing since it was initiated by authorities in DeKalb County, Ala.
In a statement released on Tuesday, DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said Tucker had been arrested in Louisiana on unknown charges, creating a break for local investigators.
Tucker now has been extradited back to DeKalb County to face the attempted murder charge, Harris said, noting that long hours had been put into the case and getting Tucker into custody in Alabama.
