Driver indicted after striking pedestrian on East 11th Street

The driver involved in a crash which resulted in severe injuries for a pedestrian has been indicted by a grand jury. 

The driver, Herman Brown Sr., 60, has been charged with aggravated vehicular assault, vehicular assault, driving under the influence and more.

A car driven by Herman Brown Sr., 51, was parked on E. 11th Street when Tyrone McCullom, 49, walked between the car and another parked vehicle, according to a release from the police department. Brown pulled into McCullom and the other parked vehicle, according to the release. 

McCullom suffered severe injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
